K. Samarasinghe is a Professor attached to the Department of Animal Science. Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya who has teaching and research experience for over 37 years. His is an Animal Scientist having expertise iii Anitiil NuL,iliuii, Puult, y S4JeI ice dl it] A, lillidi Feed Technology. He has administrative experience as the Dean of the Faculty for 6 years, member of the Governing Council of the University for 9 years and Head of the Department of Animal Science for 3 years. He currently serves as a member of the Feed Advisory Committee appointed under the Animal Feeds Act, as a Director of Sri Lanka Poultry Development Company (Pvt) Ltd and as a member of SLCARP Council. He also has served as a member of the Governing Board of HARTI and a Director of Handabima Authority of Sri Lanka.

Mr. Sunith Subawickrarna has a wide-ranging experience in the fields of Agriculture & Business Development. He obtained his BSc in Agriculture (Hons) from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and Advanced Diploma in Business Management from National Institute of Business Management, Sri Lanka.

Presently, Mr. Subawickrama is the Chief Operating Officer of Less is More Group (Pvt) Limited. He served as the CEO of Rahimafrooz CIC Agro (Pvt) Limited, is a joint venture between Rahimafrooz Bangladesh and CIC Agribusinesses, Director of Business Development and Exports of dC Agri businesses, Director of Production of Serendi b Horticulture Technologies (Pvt) Limited, Agriculture Manager of Ceylon Tobacco Company Foliage project, a subsidiary of Ceylon Tobacco Company.

Prof. Gamini Pushpakumara

Graduated from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 1990 obtained B.Sc. Agriculture degree with flrst Class Honours, and joined the Faculty of Agriculture of the same university as a Probationary Lecturer on 1991. He carried out postgraduate studies In the University of Oxford, UK starting from 1992, and completed the M.Sc. degree in Forestry and its Relation to Land Use in 1993, also completed Ph.D. degree in the same place in mid 1997 in the area of Forest Genetics and Germplasm Conservation. He has returned to the Faculty in mid 1997, and resumed the service at the same Department. He was promoted to Senior Lecturer Grad II and Grade I In 1997 and 2001. respectively. On merit, he was promoted to the grade of Professor of Crop Science in 2009. From 2009 to 2012, he served as the Head of the Department of Crop Science. Since November 2015, he Is serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradenlya,

He was the former ICRAF Country Liaison Scientist. He is an expenenced Academic and Senior Research Scientist on Agroforestry, Forest Genetics and Forest Ecosystems and Germplasm Conservation, Agroecosystems and Agronomy of Agricultural Crops having excellent communicatIon skills In spoken and written English and ability to work In a diverse range of subject areas and expertise related to the broad field of Agriculture.

Dr. Ananda Chandrasekara

Dr. Ananda Chandrasekara is an academic researcher with more than 12 years of experience in the field of Food, Human Nutrition and Public Health. He obtained his PhD in Human Nutrition & Biochemistry from the University of Sydney. Dr. Chandrasekara is a professionally qualified Nutritionist (Reg. Nutr.) (Nutrition Society of Australia) and Medical Practitioner (Sri Lanka Medical Council) with more than 10 years of clinical experience at several Sri Lankan Government Hospitals. He served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Peradeniya and as a Research Fellow/Academic (School of Health) at the Deakin University, Australia. As an academic, in recent years, Dr. Chandrasekara conducted several research projects at Deakin University, on exploring the interrelationship of obesity, mental health and physical activity. He possesses a comprehensive expertise on novel scientific developments in the fields of nutraceuticals, naturopathy and public health. Dr. Chandrasekara has substantial experience in education and training, clinical practice and research development in both Sri Lanka and Australia.
